what you type
when you talk to blu, bea, max or mia on this site, your words are read and answered right in your browser. they aren't sent to us or to anyone else, they aren't stored, and they're gone when you close the page.
if you tell your companion your name, it's remembered only until you close or reload the page.
voice
voice is off until you turn it on. when it's on, your companion speaks with your device's own text-to-speech. on some devices and browsers that voice comes from an online service run by the browser or device maker, under their own privacy terms.
what loading the site involves
- the site is hosted on vercel, which keeps standard server logs, like the time of a visit, the page asked for and your ip address, to run and protect the service.
- the typeface comes from google fonts, so your browser asks google's servers for it, which shares your ip address with google.
- no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no trackers.
children
this site doesn't collect personal information from anyone, children included. see the terms for who blu is made for.
changes
if this page changes, the date at the top changes too. if we ever start collecting anything, we'll say so here first, in plain words, before it happens.
